Orangutan wildlife Tours at Tanjung Puting Camp Leakey
Tanjung Puting Park is a wildlife nature reserve in Indonesia Central Kalimantan province of Borneo Island. Tanjung Puting National Park is well know of its klotok boat jungle cruise tours to spot semi-wild and wild orangutan in the middle of the prime lowland tropical Rain Forest of Kalimantan. The unique Flora and Fauna is an ecological wealth, from coast featured mangrove swamp, and low-land rainforest, to dense jungle as the three basic ecosystems of the park. Upon arrival at Pangkalanbun Airport meet your tour guide at the terminal hall for short meeting service and transfer to Kumai harbor to board the klotok boat which will cruise us up into the jungle of Sekonyer River. Enjoy the river forest scenery, where the wildlife creatures as gibbons, proboscis long nose monkeys hide in the tree tops to welcome you at Borneo in their habitat reserve Tanjung Puting National Park.
Day 02: PONDOK TANGGUI, CAMP LEAKEY ORANGUTAN (BLD)
After breakfast cruise by klotok boat to visit the Orang Utan center Pondok Tanggui, trek the forest trails before we proceed to Camp Leakey research and rehabilitation center of the Orangutan. Hike the wooden paths through the tropical rainforest searching for the wildlife, afterwards return to Klotok Boat or Rimba Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 03: PANGKALANBUN (B)
After breakfast cruise downstream Sekonyer River to Pangkalanbun for transfer to the airport where you can find your onward flight to your next holiday destination.

Upon arrival at the Airport of Pangkalanbun, meeting service and transfer by car to Kumai harbor to for boarding the klotok boat and start the cruise into Tanjung Puting Park. Along the riverbank you can enjoy the beauty of the jungle, and its wonderful creatures as orangutans, gibbons, proboscis monkeys, hornbil birds, and many more animal species will show up unexpectly during the cruise into the forest of Borneo. Day 02: PONDOK TANGGUI, CAMP LEAKEY (BLD)
Breakfast, cruise usptream to bring a visit to Pondok Tanggui, which is an Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre along the Sekonyer River, afterwards we proceed to Camp Leakey, which is the famous research and rehabilitation centre of the Orang Utans. We will hike and Trek through the tropical rainforest of Tanjung Puting to explore the ecological flora and fauna of Kalimantan, include wildlife and the exotic tropical plants, afterwards return to Klotok Boat or Rimba Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 03: PELASAT, TANJUNG HARAPAN (BLD)
Enjoy your Breakfast, while the klotok boat cruise to Pelasat Forest Replantation side, as a local Conservation and Education area of Tanjung Puting National Park, continue to Tanjung Harapan for sightseeing at the traditional local village of Kalimantan, trekking the jungle over the trails beeing the wildlife adventure as Borneo heritage.
