Danau Sentarum Park
Danau Sentarum is a National Park (DSNP), located in a remote area of the upper Kapuas River called "Kapuas hulu" in West Kalimantan province, of Indonesia Borneo, near the Malaysian border of Sarawak, and is approximately 700 km. inland from the West Kalimantan provincial capital, Pontianak. DSNP is an area of connected big lakes and seasonally flooded by tropical rains, the water streams down from the cloud Rain Forest hills of the surrounding area.Danau Sentarum National Park is approximately 30-35 m. above sea level, while the surrounding hills are situated as high as 750 meter above sea level. Daytime temperatures are consistently between the 26-30 degrees Celsius, The driest months are usually July, August, and September. The area was established in 1985 as the Danau Sentarum Wildlife Reserve. While the borders are unclear, the main part of the park is around 1250 square kmSeveral Longhouses are found in the area of Danau Sentarum Park, The Iban longhouse of Sungal Sedik is located about 6 km. from the district center of Lanjak. The longhouse was a 14-household community containing about 100 residents. The Sedik River territory is a hunted area for the members of the at least five other longhouse Dayak communities of Lanjak.
West Kalimantan 's Danau Sentarum National Park wildlife has 120 species of fish, Among them are the Asian bony tongue, toman, betutu, jelawat, belida, ketutung, and the beautiful clown loach. Other animals like proboscis monkey, orangutan, estuarine crocodile, siamese crocodile, clouded leopard, great argus pheasant, false gavial, and wooly-necked stork also inhabit this national park.

Upon arrival at Pontianak, meeting service, transfer to hotel. Free at your own leisure. Afternoon, short sightseeing around Pontianak, visit the equator monument.
Day 02 PONTIANAK, PUTUSSIBAU (BLD)
Breakfast at Hotel, Free at your own leisure till transfer to airport for your flight to Putussibau. Upon Arrival at Putussibau, direct transfer to a lodge for overnight, in th evening we an explore the Dayak people activities. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight at longhouse.
Day 03 PUTUSSIBAU, BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
After breakfast at lodge, we will drive to Embaloh River, on the way we will pass farmlands.By longboat we cruise upstream to Embaloh, from where we continue passing rapids to Mataso village in-to Betung Kerihun National Park. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight at prepaired jungle camp.
Day 04 BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
After breakfast, trekking to explore the Betung Kerihun National Park, the trails lead us through canopy bridges, passing rivers, spotting wild animals and when lucky we might see a wild orangutan. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight at jungle camp.
Day 05 BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK, DANAU SENTARUM NATIONAL PARK (BLD)
After breakfast, by boat transfer to Lanjak and continue by car and speedboat to Tekenang village at the area of Danau Sentarum National Park. Here we can explore wildlife of the wetlands. Lunch will be served en route, dinner and overnight at fisherman floating house.
Day 06 DANAU SENTARUM NATIONAL PARK, PUTUSSIBAU (BLD)
Early morning start return trip to Putussibau, by speedboat via Tekenang, the trip will take about 5 hours. During the trip you an enjoy the two different landscapes of Sentarum Lake and Kapuas River which we pass, upon arrival at Putussibau, check in at Hotel. Lunch and dinner will be served en route.
Day 07 PUTUSSIBAU, PONTIANAK (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure, till departure time for your flight to Pontianak, upon arrival at Pontianak, transfer to Hotel for overnight, meals en route
Day 08 PONTIANAK DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel and free at your own leisure till departure time for your onward flight from Pontianak airport to your next destination.
