Long Lunuk Data Dawai airstrip
Long Lunuk is the small settlement of a few Dayak families near the airstrip of Data Dawai airport. Data Dawai is located at the upper stream of the Mahakam River, after the rapids, and is an isolated area with about a 5000 Dayak people living aauthetic way of dry rise fielding (ladang) and hunting. The area is covered with rain forest and has several mountains, totaly un-explored by tourism, but suit only for those with an adventures spirit and patients.
