Turttle Bay Teluk Sumbang Berau
The turttle bay of Teluk Sumbang, is one of the favorit visitor places and a pleasant activity of its kind. The turttles can be found the whole year round at a distance of about 10 minutes from your eco lodge by klotok boat, in the small bay called Gandeng Bay. Spotting the Turttles and sea fish of the coral reefs can be easily done from your klotok boat or by snorkeling in the bay. The Mangrove forest at the bank of the bay, is home to proboscis monkeys which can be spot early morning or late afternoon as a complete spot of the endangered spieces of fauna at Borneo Island.
Labuan Cermin Mirror Lake Biduk Biduk Berau
Labuan Cermin is a salt and fresh water lake, where the salt water fill the lower part and fresh water the upper part of the lake. The lake is called the mirror lake as it is a bright water lake which mirror the surrounding, and unique in itself. Labuan Cermin is only 1 hour away from your eco lodge.
Mangrove Bay Proboscis Monkeys
Several bays are found arround Teluk Sumbang and suit for kayaking throughout. Exploring the flora and fauna of the mangrove bay is a pleasant oppertunity to spot wildlife as proboscis monkeys during the morning and afternoon.
