Ohong Creek is a creek between the Dayak villages Tanjung Isuy and Mancong, during the canoe river cruise you can spot lots of wildlife as proboscis monkeys and bird species, with the dayak culture and longhouses, along the Jempang lake at the Mahakam river this trip will be complete experience of culture and wildlife.

Ohong Creek is located near the big Lakes of the Mahakam River. It is a convenient stop for visitors traveling into the hinterland. Cruising the Lakes, when lucky some Fresh Water Dolphins can be seen, Fishermen living in their houses build on and along the Lake Semayang, Lake Jempang and Lake Melintang.

Lake Melintang covers a surface of 10,000 hectares near melintang village. The scenery here is very beautiful. A unique sight is that of buffaloes living in pens built on the water at Lebak Singkil, on the lake. The animals wade through the water, which is more than one meter deep, while looking for food.

Lake Semayang lies at the other side of Lake Melintang,and covers a surface of 13,000 hectares. Many villages are found in its surroundings.There are several beautiful small lakes in the vicinity, such as Manggah, Barambai, Rabok, Tempatung, Kedang Mubung, Wis and Siran.

Lake Melintang is the most nearest of Muara Muntai, and have to be crossed to reach the Dayak villages Tanjung Isuy or Mancong. It covers also an area of near the 10.000 hectares, with many fisherman living along or on the Lake. Build their hard wooden houses, on pile foundations.
