Desa Setulang village as a Dayak Kenyah settlement in the North Part of Indonesia Borneo Island, has an intriguing history and traditional Dayak Kenyah and Punan Tribes, The Location of Desa Setulang is bordering the Kayan Mentarang area, and is the door to its primary forest. From The village short jungle treks can be made in loops with or without overnights in the tropical rain forest. The wealth of ecological and cultural treasures that survive deep this North Part of Kalimantan is one places of moderate level to explore the natural beauty of the oldest rainforest jungle in Indonesia.

Tour Duration 07 Days / 06 NightsDay 01: TARAKAN, ARRIVAL (D)
Upon arrival at Tarakan airport, transfer and check – in at a hotel, dinner at local restaurant.
Day 02 : TARAKAN, MALINAU, DESA SETULANG (BLD)
Breakfast, then we drive to the harbor to board the speedboat for our trip to Malinau (3 hours), on the way you can when lucky you can see the fresh water dolphins and Long nose Monkeys along the delta of Sesayap River. Upon arrival at Malinau, we will continue our trip If water-level is high enough by motorized canoe upstream Sesayap River to Desa Setulang, otherwise overland by car to Desa Setulang, upon arrival at the village, short sightseeing and overnight at Lodge or local house, meals on the way.
Day 03 & 05 : DESA SETULANG, FOREST TREK (BLD)
We can experience the traditional life of the Dayak Tribes at the village, and trek through the tropical forest around, try to spot some animals as monkeys, hornbill birds, and king fishers. At the hills we will have a beautiful view of the forest around us. Meals on the way, overnight at Local house and Jungle camp.
Day 06 : DESA SETULANG, MALINAU, TARAKAN (BLD)
After breakfast we start our trip downstream by canoe or overland by car to Malinau, from where we continue to Tarakan by boat, meals on the way, overnight at hotel
Day 07 : TARAKAN (B)
After breakfast free at leisure, till departure time to Tarakan airport, from where you can catch your onward flight to your next destination.
